A major piece of furniture that she wants to keep is a burnt orange sofa that is in excellent condition (I could not find a photo on the web similar to the sofa and the battery for my camera died). I did some research on the web and found these beautiful orange and blue rooms. I love the contrast of these two colors. The blue calms the orange down yet it has a fun, warm, relax feel to it. It reminds me of Summer. I plan to paint the walls light blue and perhaps add a bit of green to the mix. Be sure to check out future posts about the design process.
