Ok, it’s time for a new giveaway. The prize is House Beautiful’s very own, “The Home Book”.
With 465 pages, this book is filled with photos and tips that take you through the steps of designing your home. The first section focuses on understanding your home (i.e. the site, the architecture and the layout of your home). The next section discusses the elements of your home (i.e. ambience, color, lighting, fabric, walls and ceilings). Finally, the last section is all about designing your home. This book also shows you amazing photos of every room of the home from the entryway to the bedroom and how you can transform it into your space. I need help with everything! I bought a home that had been abandoned for a year. The living room needs painting, “office” needs to have the built-in desk ripped out, and all of the carpeting needs to be replaced with tile or wood, the bedroom needs painting and a light fixture or ceiling fan installed, the lanai isn’t currently a very inviting place. I need help!
