Writer’s Study Inspiration

I know, I know, I did a post on Jamie Drake yesterday however, I could not resist showing you this amazing writer’s study designed by Jamie Drake for the Showtime series, Californication.



 


Tower of books sculpture. Very creative.  I wonder how much time it took to create it.  Great conversational piece.

Can you believe this chandelier was handmade out of 4,000 paper clips?
I will admit I do not watch nor have I heard of the Showtime series Californication.  Apparently, this study was designed to inspire the main character to write again.  From the looks of this room, I do not see that being a problem!

Jamie Drake

Jamie Drake is one of my favorite designers.  He is known for his use of vibrant colors and bold interiors.  He has a very impressive background from being inducted in the Interior Design Hall of Fame to his clients: Madonna and Michael Bloomberg. Take a look at a few photos from his portfolio and you will see why his recognition is well deserved!

Every Couple Needs……

A His and Her Bathroom!  Check out this amazing bathroom designed by Traditional Home’s Robert Young

 

This is the shared area.   Although the whole area is stunning, my favorite is the beautiful tile mural by Erin Adams

Here Robert Young used Chinoiserie Wallpaper on the 2 accent walls leading to the His Area.

I love the bathroom have shared space so couples can interact as well as separate space so no one would be in the way.  This space was well thought out and wonderfully designed.
