I have always been a HUGE fan of black and white decor. I think it adds sophistication and elegance to any room. What I love the most about black and white is you can add punches of bold color i.e. hot pink, teal, turquoise, mustard, red, etc. Another great thing about using black and white is it goes with any decorating style.    I love black and white and this is a great spread! Love these examples as I haven’t seen them before. I did two different black and white posts previously – one on a hotel and one on a house. I think you might enjoy the house – it was done completely in Black and White.

   I stumbled upon this as I have just moved into a completely unfurnished flat and am looking to decorate in black and white. I have just painted the walls ivory cream, and thought of black and white as all the work surfaces in the kitchen are black granite. I was just stuck for ideas for the bathroom (which at the moment is horrid, a tiny tiny bathroom with insipid small pale blue tiles, where the grouting looks discoloured and vile) and I just love that dramatic diamond-pattern of tiles on the bathroom wall in your photo…
